
Elijah, Burning, 2024.

Burning utilizes my father's private graffiti archive, which includes ATT Crew photos from the 1990s to present train documentation. Through an intervention in scale, the archival photographs were scaled to near life-size, allowing the piece to assert itself over the space, mirroring the function of real graffiti. Imposing Graffiti into a gallery space integrates the work of the illuminated artists into the institutional art canon, demanding recognition as an art form.
